About Us

Carmen Maria Mitchell is a multidisciplinary performing artist, producer, and passionate arts activist. With a background in competitive figure skating and ballet, Carmen's career has evolved to encompass leading roles in musicals, short films, commercials, motion capture projects and professional ice skating shows. Notably, she performed as a principal skater on a National Tour of Disney on Ice. Carmen is the Founder & Executive Director of Redwood Theatre Company (RTC), a 501c3 non-profit and home to FTA Productions. Passionate about using the arts as a tool for social change, Carmen’s commitment to arts activism is reflected in her advocacy for inclusivity and community empowerment within her projects.

Dominic Bowker is a Sonoma County-based filmmaker, with a passion for narrative and documentary storytelling. He’s cut his teeth on various award-winning indie short films, bringing his talent as a behind-the-scenes videographer and stills photographer to projects such as “The Phoenix” by Regina Pigsley, “For The Safety of Theo” by Christopher Macken, and many more. Since then, he has worked his way into the camera department, traveling across the U.S. providing his talents on various commercial and narrative projects as a cinematographer, camera operator, assistant camera, director, and producer.

Marcus Ward is a Sonoma County-based photographer who began his journey with a focus on dance photography and videography. This early experience honed his skills in capturing movement and emotion, laying the foundation for his broader work in commercial and personal photography. Over the years, Marcus has expanded his portfolio to include portrait sessions, event coverage, and more, always bringing a keen eye for detail and a dedication to storytelling. Whether you’re looking for dynamic images of a special moment or a creative project, Marcus combines his background in dance with a thoughtful and professional approach to every shoot.

Hiro Sogi is currently a Napa resident who began his photography and videography journey in the Napa Valley wine industry. Growing up with a chef and sommelier for a father, he has always been attracted to the arts of the fine-dining industry. After five and a half years working at a small tasting room, he unsuspectingly discovered the power of visual storytelling. His curiosity has taken him all over the Bay Area alongside winemakers to record the gritty behind-the-scenes work of what it takes to make beautiful wines. Some of his best moments are in the vineyards alongside small local producers such as Freeman Winery & Vineyards, Noria Wines, and No Love Lost Wine Co.

Izzy Fischer is a Sonoma County-based filmmaker, video editor, and artist. She graduated from UC Davis in 2016, where she majored in Film Studies. For seven years she worked as a television producer at Rohnert Park PBS affiliate station Northern California Public Media, where she produced short form documentary stories, live television productions, public education programs, and much more. She is now working as a freelance video editor and is thrilled to be a part of the FTA team. Izzy is passionate about the power of storytelling to imagine and inspire action towards building the world we want to live in.
